Advanced Medical Management: Ultrasound
For certified FEMM Medical Providers. Led by Dr. Pilar Vigil and Dr. Oliver Vasilj. This three-day advanced course offers a structured blend of lecture, guided image review, and concurrent imaging sessions. Participant will gain hands-on experience in ultrasound physiology, reading techniques, and real-world clinical application. Special focus is given to infertility care, PCOS, premature ovarian failure, adolescent reproductive health, and live patient cases.

Prerequisite: all registrants must have previously completed FEMM Medical Management training.

Schedule: Each day will run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm EST. Breaks will be provided for coffee and lunch as indicated, and smaller stretch and restroom breaks will be indicated throughout.
Transportation: Transportation is the responsibility of each participant. The teaching venue is located within the hotel

For both live and streaming registrants, we offer an audit option. This option is ideal for students, allied professionals, clinicians without prescribing authority, and FEMM Teachers.
Auditors do NOT receive CME credit or any ongoing provider support. Auditors do not become Certified FEMM Providers.

Dr. Pilar Vigil
MD, PhD, OB/GYN, FACOG
Dr. Pilar Vigil is the Research Director of the RHRI. She completed her post-doctoral work with Dr. Emil Steinberger at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, and spent decades working with both Dr. Steinberger and Dr. Brown. The importance of this legacy of research and clinical care, along with the collaborations with Drs. John and Evelyn Billings, is the foundation of the scientific work of FEMM and the RHRI.

Dr. Oliver Vasilj is an associate professor and member of the Medifem Polyclinic expert team in Zagreb. He is widely respected for his research and publications on ultrasound diagnostics and women’s health across the reproductive lifespan. Passionate about education, he brings decades of clinical and research insight into practical, clinician-focused instruction.
