Teacher Training Course
Self-Study Option 

The FEMM Self-Study Course is designed for students who need additional time to complete their FEMM Teacher Training requirements. This fully asynchronous course is hosted on our teacher training platform and allows you to work through your remaining coursework at your own pace within your enrollment period. Once enrolled, you will have access to all required course materials, including training videos, exercises, quizzes, practice teaching resources, and report submission areas. 

*Please note - to qualify for the self-study option, you must have previously been enrolled in one of the Teacher Training Courses. 

How long will I have access to the self-study course?

Access is provided according to the Self-Study program you select at registration - either a 3-month or 12-month option. Please refer to the section below for registration details. 

Will I still have access to the Education Team? 

Absolutely! We are here to help - you can reach us through inbox, email, the discussion board, or during office hours.

My FEMM Teacher Training Course began several years ago, but I never finished. Is there an option for me?

Yes! Please review the third option below - we'd love for you to get started again! 

Will my coursework transfer over?

No. Previously completed lessons and activities will not appear as completed within the Self-Study course. However, you do not need to repeat coursework you have already completed if your work began in the last 24 months. Our team will maintain a record of your progress and only require completion of any outstanding requirements.

I just need a little bit more time!

Our 3-month access option is perfect for students in current cohorts who have already begun the practice teaching component of the course. 

I'm going to need a while!

The 12-month access option is a good fit if you haven't begun (or, if you need to restart) the practice teaching component. 

It's been years since I started!

If your original course began 24 months ago or earlier, please select this option. You'll need to complete all the coursework from the beginning, and you will have 12 months of access.
